dr. alina salganicoff, phd

deeply respected in the field of women’s health policy, dr. salganicoff’s expertise in health-care access for low-income women and families resonates strongly with the hope & grace fund’s priorities. she also brings grant-making experience through her previous program staff role at the pew charitable trusts. dr. salganicoff has served on several federal, state, and nonprofit advisory committees including: the us office on women’s health, us department of health & human services’ agency for healthcare research and quality, the health resources and services administration’s bright futures for women initiative, and the institute of medicine committee on women’s health research. she is also currently serving on the boards of the california family health council and the guttmacher institute as well as the steering committee for the veteran’s administration women’s health research consortium/practice-based research network. these and other experiences have given dr. salganicoff a front row seat to the federal and state responses to the most pressing health issues facing women across america.
